A buddy of mine asked if I could donate some time to help design some work for a charity event benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County. Over time that event and Sky2x Creative’s involvement has evolved in to Appetite for Art. It’s promising to be a great event and if you’re in the Raleigh area and want  a fun night out and have it go to a good cause, by tickets and show up.

Oh. And the reason for posting this to begin with: I couldn’t let Sky2x have all the fun so I’m donating a print. It’s from an early show of mine. Shot in New Mexico and printed by the brilliant Jennifer Bisbing.

Originally this work appeared as part of a 120 Hours show. Myself, Jennifer Bisbing and Maggie Meiners put two shows together one on New Mexico and the other on Memphis. The idea was an experiment of what happens if you drop three photographers into a setting and have them do nothing but explore the subject for 120 hours. There’s been rumors off and on about getting something together but nothing has happened. Yet.

These are the pieces that I contributed to the set we showed in Chicago. I’d like to thank Norman Mauskopf for kicking my butt all week while these were shot as part of his Visual Storytelling workshop.
