December 2011 Wallpaper
It’s rare to get a sincere snow here. By sincere I mean, the kind where you wake up in the morning, look out your window and are treated to a completely different landscape. Everything changes. The light changes because of how the snow reflects, everyone’s routine gets thrown out the window. And if you’re lucky, you can sneak out to a local lake or park and get some interesting shots close to home. So to close out 2011, here’s... Read More
2011 Love Hangover
Finally, the complete edit. I can’t believe how long it’s taken to pull this together. I’m sure, by now, Caroline is at least knee-deep in planning the next Love Hangover. Enough talk. Arches, Profile and Appetite 4 Art

Pilot Mill
We’ve been doing some work for a new client who’s office is over in Pilot Mill—one of the early brownfield projects here in Raleigh. It’s this great example of reclaimed space. A huge mill in it’s golden years and now some nice commercial space in one of my favorite parts of town. Anyhow, the site we were working on needed some simple accent shots. Some texture. A little flavor of the space they’re in. So, on the way... Read More
Brentwood Luminarias
For forty years our neighborhood, Brentwood, has displayed luminarias on Christmas Eve. For the entire time we’ve lived here, the Brentwood Exchange Club has taken on the task of raising the money, securing donations and the logistics of that morning. Brentwood is not a small neighborhood so this is no trivial matter. This year though they announced that atrophying membership meant they’d be unable to pull it off this year. With word of...
