[...] I had to tear through the Lebanon work for a boundary 2 cover last month. And as I was doing it, I realized that there was a great February wallpaper hiding. Actually there were a couple. Why is this a great February wallpaper? I don’t really know. Maybe the Cherub statue could be mistaken for Cupid? Maybe I’m trying to make up for putting barbwire up last February? [...]

Ooh, would you consider this for the dining room? I love it! Would be beautiful with a crisp white matte. I also love that it's from NC and that we were camping when you took it!!

Hi JIm. Thanks for stopping by. I actually didn't make it out on Sunday—too much stuff to take care of around the house. The 15's were the byproduct of frugality—they were take offs from the Type R we've been running the rest of the year.

But yes, it is nice to see they can be on pace.

Enjoy the Cooper. They really are fantastically fun cars to run. Right out of the box.

I enjoyed watching you and Jim run the Justa at Danville airport last weekend. I was driving the AS silver Cayman S in the same run group on Saturday. It was a hoot seeing the Justa beating the JCW, et al.

My interest in MINIs returned when my wife brought home an '06 Justa last year. We both autocrossed a '64 Mini Cooper S back in the early '70s. Now I'm spending more time on the MINI websites than on the Porsche websites.

I came down to look over the Justa Sunday morning, but no one was around. I noticed it was wearing 15" wheels with 225/45 Hoosiers. I don't get to see top tier MINIs often, but from what I've read, most apparently use 16" wheels. Here's proof that the 15's can also work well.

Thanks to you and Jim for the pleasure of watching how to do it.

Thanks Jules—I've enjoyed catching your stuff on Instagram. I've got a backlog of editing to do. I feel guilty picking up the camera when I know I've got a bunch of work to process through already.

JB—Nope we were ahead of 9/11. I'd have very different memories of the trip I think. The problem with film is that it doesn't record any EXIF info. I'll have to check my notes.
